Synopsis:

The good King Hamil couldn’t bring a heir into the world until Gamesh, the child-wizard uses his magic powers and makes this possible. However, the old wizard, Epos opposes Gamesh and the King’s son and only heir is replaced by a baby girl, called Mirabella.The King’s real son is given to a couple of peasants, where he is brought up as one of the family along with their own son. Neither Epos or Gamesh can tell who is King’s true heir, Leonardo or Ademaro.
Years go by and Mirabella gets to know the two boys, who both fall deeply in love with her. The lives of all three are still in the hands of the wizards, Epos and Gamesh, who can in some way control their fate even though they are unable to influence their sentiments.
Mirabella finally realises that she loves only Leonardo who has since been recognized as the King’s legitimate son. He asks her to marry him but Epos once again gets in the lover’s way and creates confusion. Finally Gamesh acts on behalf of the couple and helps them combat Epos’ evil plans. In the end, Ademaro is recognised as the son of the King Hamil, leaving Leonardo and Mirabella free to love one eachother, now that it has been discovered that they are only peasants …..they live happily after.
