Synopsis:

Just two days to go before Christmas and the north of Italy is shaken by a series of mysterious and worrying thefts: a thief dressed as Santa Claus is stealing toys from the largest stores in the area. Tension grows, parents are desperate, the police powerless. Only one man can save the situation: our friend Ezechiele (Lino Banfi)… Who would like anything but the extra work just a few hours before his eagerly awaited post-Christmas holiday in Hawaii.
Ezechiele, as ordered by Decano, finds himself dealing with the impossible
hunt for “Santa” which will lead to the capture of the cynical but good Mario
(Gerry Scotti), and the discovery of an incredible place: the “Happy House” orphanage.
Here the thief spent his childhood and where Christmas is not only never celebrated, but is in fact cancelled from the calendar, following the wishes of the wicked director (Pamela Villoresi) - still ruling over a small and sad group of orphans - who in turn hides a terrible and painful secret.
The clock is ticking and things get complicated: now Ezechiele not only has to discover where the presents are hidden, but also find a way to ‘teach’ the sense and spirit of Christmas to twenty children who are unaware of its existence (something that is not very easy for a hyper-technological Santa like him)...
And he must also earn the trust of the surly Mario (the only one who knows where the hiding place of the stolen presents is), help him win over the pretty - cook at “Un-happy House”
and help him find out what became of his parents... All in less than 24 hours!
It will be a night full of surprises and magic wands, of enchanted
Christmas trees, of sleigh rides and shoot-outs. Where, in a hospital room,
enerything will miraculously work out, among snowflakes, dolls brought to life and...
