Synopsis:

A rather serious professor marries a girl who is not only much younger than him, but also a little silly and naive. One day, to the husband’s dismay, two horns pop out of hid forehead – an Italian symbol that wife is being unfaithful. The husband is deeply upset when his wife, in an attempt to save the marriage, quickly confesses her infidelity. However, she hastens to reassure her husband that she truly loves him. But the appearance of the horns has far-reaching consequences also on the couple’s friends. One by one they all seem to be on the verge of separation or divorce because of apparent unfaithfulness. With all this, the young girl is actually a good and devoted wife and in fact has never been unfaithful to her husband. So between metaphor and reality, the horns are discovered to be a result of a rare illness and gradually all involved manage to find a happy ending.
