Synopsis:

Dr. Laurenti is a good physician but he treats his patients as objects: he remembers the number of their beds but not their names. As much as he is great at work, his private life is a disaster: he forgets about his son’s school concert, squanders all his money on very expensive sports cars and he cheats on his wife Serena with younger women. He’s a rascal who has forgotten the value of love.
One day, after a serious accident which leaves him unconscious, he wakes up with a laugh. From then on, magically, every aspect of Laurenti’s life will take a new and different path. Everything will be lightened up by the wonder of a smile. Nurses will find a renewed strength to carry on, and a medical school graduate, who wrote her thesis on clown-therapy, will bring new emotions and lots of laughs to the hospital wards.
