Synopsis:

Maria Corleone is a young Sicilian who moved to Milan to fulfill her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Her partner, Luca Spada, is young prosecutor with whom she is expecting a child. When she returns to Palermo for a wedding anniversary, a killer attempts to kill her father, Luciano Corleone, a powerful and talked-about entrepreneur. While her father escapes the shooting, her twin brother is killed. This event will change her life forever, the sentiment of revenge will push her into the family criminal affair, becoming the new head of the organization. This will distance her from husband Luca and she will have to face dramatic choices also for the child she is expecting from him.
Tension will grow when she will have to confront Luca, her ex-partner and father of her son Giovannino, now head of the Police. What will Maria do? Will she follow the Corleone instinct and try to take justice into her own hands by eliminating Tony Zerilli? Or will she for once rely on Luca and the law so she can mend her relationship with him and try to live like a normal family? For Maria it is a choice.
