Synopsis:

During a bank robbery in Genoa, Carlo is taken hostage, beaten and then abandoned. Since the police do not seem very willing to help, he swears that he will find the delinquents himself and kill them. He manages to blackmail a young thief into providing him with weapons and putting him in contact with the worst crooks in the criminal world. There Carlo finds his targets and calls the police: having been warned, maybe by someone at the police station, the criminals manage to escape. With the help of his young thief, Carlo pretends to have been kidnapped, in order to force the police to intervene. While the police search for Carlo, the criminals try to kill him. During the final scene the delinquents die, but so does the young thief who has helped Carlo.
