Synopsis:

Ester Lazzaroni is a remarkable woman who managed to bring up four daughters almost by herself. Her husband left her in Rome and disappeared long ago.
Her daughters Meg, Jo, Amy, and Beth, like their namesakes from the classic novel “ Little women”, manage to get into as much trouble and certainly seem to have even more complicated problems to solve in today’s society.
Meg is a psychiatrist and so full of the modern woman’s role in the family that she forgets why she married her husband
Jo, is deeply involved in her thriller stories, leaves Rome for a business trip and gets involved in a mystery drama as soon as she arrives to New York.
Amy, instead of helping her sister to look for a missing person, is more interested in looking for an eligible and very rich husband. She only becomes a little worried when the youngest member of the family, Beth, warns her that Jo is really in danger.
Beth’s sixth sense has seen her favourite sister bloodied and bruised on the other side of the ocean and the whole family have to rush from Rome to the U.S.A. to rescue her.
Finally Dad appears after fifteen years of absence.
What will he make of these four beautiful daughters?
