Synopsis:

Io Canto Generation is a musical competition among 24 young singing talents, who will be coached by six well-known singers.
The heart of this show is the encounter between different generations in a surprising exchange of experiences and musical repertories.
The performances are judged by a jury composed of four great artists. Challenge after challenge, the judges’ votes determine a ranking which can be overturned by the votes of the studio audience. Eliminated talents can be “saved” by the representative of a local Radio station that sees potential in the singer and wants to keep him/her in the competition. In the final episode the remaining contestants will no longer be in teams but will compete individually. Only one shall win a place at the Florence Music Academy and a trip to the New York Music Academy.
