Synopsis:

On Christmas Eve, three alpine climbers find the perfectly preserved body of a man on a glacier. The body is taken by helicopter to a small mountain village where the man is identified. And so the story of who the man was and why he was so special unfolds after 60 years, told by a grandmother to her grandchildren during the long night.
