Synopsis:

When the communist government of Albania falls apart two Italians, Enrico Vitale (ENRICO LO VERSO) and Fiore Di Nola (ENNIO FANTASTICHINI), on behalf of an Italian company, scout the country in search of a production plant to buy from the bankrupt government, as a good investment. The Albanian laws require that at least 50% of the capital should be of Albanian origin, so the two find a nominee: Spiro, an old man who has been imprisoned for 30 years by the communists regime and has no idea of what is really happening around him. He signs the necessary documents and then is taken by Enrico to a retirement house. All seems settled for the best, but unexpectedly Spiro disappears. It will be Enrico's duty to find him.
