Synopsis:

Paolo is a judge fighting organized crime, trying to uncover mafia operations in Calabria, with little time left for his wife and son Robbie who live in Australia. When Robbie disappears, his wife flies to Italy to convince Paolo to search for him, but Paolo has made many enemies.
After his wife is killed by a bomb meant for him, he leaves for Australia, where he meets Claire, a reporter trying to uncover money laundering activities. She knows Robbie’s girlfriend and helps Paolo, but when they find the girl she is frightened, knowing too much due to her job with an organisation which is a cover for money-laundering. While Paolo realises there is a Calabrian-Australian connection, a local policeman, Roger, discovers drug-arms trafficking involving law officers as well.
As the circle becomes tighter when a Calabrian mafia boss arrives, Paolo finds Robbie only to discover he is part of the hated criminal world.
In despair, Paolo tries to kill himself ….but Robbie saves him. Father and son have one final meeting dogged by killers hired to eliminate this thorn in the mafia’s side.
Will they get their victim?
