Synopsis:

Vittorio, a successful 35 year old Venetian Engineer meets and falls in love with Beatriz, a beautiful Argentinian girl. He has to leave on a business trip even though she is expecting a child, but they will be reunited in a few weeks. On he’s return , Beatriz has disappeared. After months of fruitless searching, he’s friend Antonio informs him that Beatriz has been found dead, but their son, Giulio, is alive. Together they will sadly return to Italy. After twelve years of the best education and elegant surroundings , Giulio will have the obsession that his mother is still alive and will run away to Argentina in search of her. He follows many false trails and comes to meet a young gypsy girl with which he will live in conditions far from he is used to. While walking through a village in the Andes , he sees a woman looking exactly like the photo of his mother. He is convinced it is her, even though her name is Elena. After weeks of searching for Marco , Vittorio , finally finds him, but does not recognise Elena, although he is drawn to her. Marco will insist that she has to return with them back to Italy. At last the boy feels that now he has the most valuable thing of all , the love of a complete family.
