Synopsis:

Headstrong and naive, the young Italian aristocrat Fabrizio del Dongo is determined to defy his ultra conservative father and go to fight for Napoleon. He stumbles on the battle of Waterloo, ill-prepared, yet filled with enthusiasm for war and glory.
