Synopsis:

Michele Parrino, head of the Turin crime squad, is a conscientious policeman who gives lessons in democracy to journalists, treats his employees well, does not draw back in the face of danger and ignores small crime (often the result of social injustice), and is humanly interested in all those he meets. When he comes across a large drugs ring involving people in high places, he has to overcome the obstacles placed in his way by those higher up.
