Synopsis:

Daniele, a very successful soccer trainer, decides to give up everything and go back to where he has born – a village in the mountains. He’s separated from his wife Stefania because they both can’t get over the death of their only daughter. Back at home he sees his father Antonio again.
Daniele’s best friend from his childhood days has married Daniel’s first love Cristina, and they have a daughter called Chiara. Both women are attracted by Daniele. Tommaso, a little orphan, helps Daniele to regain his spiritual peace of mind. The boy’s best friend is not accepted by the village, because he’s an illegitimate child. Daniele often defends him from the villagers and begins to take part in political and administrative life of the town. The friendship with Tommaso makes him reconsider the possibility of being father and having a second chance with his wife Stefania.
